[Suggestion] Failure to perform a trick should not reward the player instead of punishment (or add this as gameplay option)

I don't really see the point in punishing the player. as a rule, if a player fails to perform a trick, they does not receive a boost, but in addition they is punished for it. I believe that it should act like a spring, with the possibility of receiving a reward.
