Switch to kode54's version of GME.
The current GME we have now isn't ideal for hardware related video game music creators. And it the one we have now hasn't even been updated to the official release ever since it was introduced.
Example of a music in game, it lacks the PCM/DAC channel:
Here's what it's supposed to sound like:

PROS:
- Adds way more supported systems.
- Allows for using multiple systems at the same time in a vgm. (referencing its foobar counterpart) (and the native Furnace Tracker feature)
- No need for converting your vgm music to an ogg, which drastically lowers the file size to under 50kb most of the time.
CONS:
- Multisystem support may not reflected in game without testing
