Okay, while I was probably quick to jump into the most shock horror issue title ever here (lol), it's not quite as bad as in 2.1 at least: as far as I'm aware so far, this is only happening for Disk Poppy, who is using Mac and lives in Europe. But what's really weird is this issue (and other locale related problems) only happens for them when the game is run from command line.

Unfortunately my fix so far doesn't work for Disk Poppy, but that might be just Apple's fault for all I know.
