I have identified the culprit. That fiendish floor format returns to defile patch drawing once again, none other than the notorious FLATS!

So like, the Sol Sestanic 2 PK3 has a completely empty /Flats folder, immediately followed by a very much not empty /Graphics folder. Everything in the Graphics folder appears as a ?. Deleteing the /Flats folder fixes the problem and all patches render as expected.
