ACZ3 boss can get stuck and stay invulnerable forever

This seems to only happen after the 5th hit, so it's probably related to his pinch phase behavior?

This is probably related specifically to the jump-to-center-waypoint behaviour that Fang goes through at the start of pinch. Obviously he can't do that successfully in the situation in the gif, so... he tries again, and again, and again, and again!
