This happens because the software renderer has a bug that makes textures align wrong on slopes. The OpenGL renderer does not have this bug. The slopes are wrong on OpenGL because the map has been designed for the software renderer's broken slope alignment.
This is a particularly difficult issue. People (including me) have tried solving it before but nobody has succeeded.
Since !1464 (merged) was merged, will this issue be closed when sphere (or another mapper from the development team) adjusts the flat alignment used for ACZ1 roads?
