Game takes almost 8 times longer to load

recently, after installing 2.2.8, I had tried testing out a level I was working on. for some reason,2.2.8 was taking up to 23 seconds.

Compared to previous versions, this is around 8 times longer than 2.2.7's 3 seconds.

This issue was noticed when testing a wad from zone builder.
