[2.2.10 pre1 - Linux] Opening the console or menus results in non functional controls????

I really don't know what's happening here...

I was able to end the gif recording but couldn't move around the menu at all.

Hasn't ever happened to me. Personally, I always compile the game from sources on my machine. Are you using the .AppImage build from SRB2's Discord server (the one made by Golden)?

Nope this was after I somehow managed to build the game via cmake and just giving it patch.pk3 from 2.2.9 so it wouldn't throw a fit. I wasn't able to get the appimage at the time because MEGA was throwing an encryption key error.

Can you try to compile the game from this branch https://git.do.srb2.org/JohnFrostFox/SRB2/-/tree/menu-unresponsiveness-fix and see if it fixes this issue?
