Restarting a stage has the camera linger while fading in
When fpscap
is set to anything other than 35 and you restart a stage (whether from dying or the "Retry" menu option), the "fade-in" view will be almost where the camera was before restarting (seeming to be interpolated towards the new location for one frame; there's a difference between fpscap 36
and fpscap 300
).
This is easily noticeable by turning the camera 180 degrees and retrying, which makes you see the front of your newly-respawned player until the fade-in finishes:
