Some linedef types which cause visual effects which might be nice to mirror in 3D mode
I'm just gonna link to the wiki pages for each of these, ordered based on how easy/hard these would be to implement and with my reasoning why it might be easy or hard.

Easy - http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_type_7 - Render sector flat alignment/rotation in Visual Mode. -
Fix what's making the end result slightly out for rotation's alignment. -
Render sector flat alignment/rotation in 2D mode. -
Sorta easy - http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_type_63 - once the second item in #1 is done, you can probably just render the in-sector planes as if it were a planes-only (top and bottom of planes visible) FOF tagged to that sector - and treat this linedef's determined heights as the in-sector heights. -
Maybe okay - http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_type_900 (up to 908) - making something translucent should probably be relatively okay. I think there's a UDMF linedef type that does this? If not, it'll be more difficult. -
pipe dream - http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_type_40 - yeah :V
