Player damage and player projectile damage is currently tied to ringslinger, and there's no way to get around this other than with friendlyfire, which would run into problems with team modes. I've had to implement over a dozen lua scripting hacks to get around this and it's causing a lot of problems on my end, when a GTR_FREEFORALL flag would handle this easily.
There is currently no GTR_ flag to indicate that team points should rise when player points rise, or that player points shouldn't rise when a player hits another player.
There is no GTR_ flag to indicate that a player should have a respawn delay penalty applied after player death.
