Badniks have been moving to the right first in 2d mode since version 2.0 and still do to this day in 2.2.8
copied mostly from the MB. Originally observed with Crawlas in 2011, version 2.0.6: https://www.bitchute.com/video/EG685HoEUNPn/ It has been discovered during version 2.1 that even robots like the Jet jaw have trouble working in 2d mode.
Apparently anything that can move like a crawla or buzz will have this navigational problem in 2d mode. They don't turn around until they hit a wall (fly/swimming) or reach the edge (ground based), and oddly enough there are badniks that do work properly too such as the jettysyns.
Thinking about this problem, it would appear that this is tied with how certain movement thinkers work. I believe the thinkers or actions in question are as follows: A_JetJawRoam A_Chase and A_BuzzFly
This issue has been persistent for so long that it can now cause more problems when it combines with the badnik clipping issue (reported here:#166)
