(Suggestion) Mod-specific settings menus in Settings menu
I mean, ZDoom can do it using MENUDEF
(more info on that here: https://zdoom.org/wiki/MENUDEF), so why can't we? Maybe a "mod settings" option could appear in the pause menu or something when a mod adds a custom settings menu. This all would eliminate the need for hacky Lua menus.
Alongside this, mod-defined cvars should no longer be cleared when the game loads up in vanilla. Maybe they could be saved as CustomModSettingsName.cv_customvalue value
in the configuration file, so they'll be loaded when the mod's menu is initialized.
