The fire dust generated when spindashing with an elemental shield isn't fullbright, unlike every other fire object in the game. The elemental overlay itself is fullbright as well so it just looks weird in dark areas.
i think this might have been my fault in the first place because i added the fiery elemental dust to fsonic's spindash lua in 2.1
