Hack to prevent leavebug from crashing

Sparkette requested to merge flarn2006/SRB2:leavebug-hack into next

A friend of mine who hosts a server kept getting this bug, and I've been working with him to test fixes. While this is far from the most elegant solution, and doesn't address the source of the issue, based on our testing, it does at least prevent this bug from crashing the game.
