This was intentional with multiplayer emblems, since they need to be able to stay for being picked up by other players. I was worried about paraloop behavior getting it collected in a weird spot that leaves it stuck, so I left it always paraloopable so that it can be manually gotten un-stuck. Theoretically this behavior could be disabled for single-player, but I didn't think it mattered all that much.
Yeah, I had a feeling this was the result of multiplayer emblems, and I do understand the need for this behavior in multiplayer.
However, I do think it should be disabled for single-player, as it's still technically a regression. It might not affect gameplay, but it looks really weird, and it's really easy to run into on the very first special stage.
