They're currently used for the following:

  • Slope vertices are tagged via the tag field instead of angle
  • PolyObject anchors and spawnpoints: PolyObject ID is now specified via the tag field instead of angle
  • Skyboxes: Skybox ID is now specified via the tag field instead of extrainfo
