5 second RTA penalty erroneously applied to all level loads
A temporary fix was recently made to RTA runs in Marathon Run. It's intended to add 5 seconds to the timer if the player loads a live-event backup of their run, due to the 5 seconds the player spends on the intermission screen that isn't accounted for in the backup. (!1048 (merged))
However, the penalty is instead applied every time a level is loaded, whether restored from a backup or not.
- Start Marathon Run
- Set category to Live Event Backup
- Set timer to Realtime
- Watch the timer at the bottom as GFZ1 loads. The timer starts at 5 seconds.
An extra 5 seconds is then added on when the player reaches GFZ2, and so forth.
